Lesson 1: Your Guide to the World of CBD

What You Will Learn

In this first video, it is my hope that you will gain a comprehensive understanding of CBD and where it comes from. We will discuss how CBD originates in the plant, its evolution from cannabidiolic acid to CBD, and how it exists alongside THC.

Then, you’ll learn about the fascinating science behind its interaction with the endocannabinoid system in the human body. This is the key to understanding how cannabis can aid in alleviating chronic pain and stress, enhance sleep quality, and promote overall wellness.

This lesson serves as a crucial first step in your journey toward achieving balance through the therapeutic potential of CBD. If you only watch one video, this should be it. It is the most important. I hope you enjoy it!

    1. When purchasing seeds, to grow for edibles Vs smoked product, What are key differences to look for? And , does it matter if using recreationally?

      1. Hello, Lisa Ann, great question ๐ŸŒฟ When purchasing cannabis seeds, the choice between those intended for edibles or smoked products is primarily about personal preference and how you wish to consume your cannabis. For both edibles and smoked products, your experience will depend on the strain of cannabis (sativa, indica, or hybrid) that you choose. Sativa strains are typically more energizing and uplifting, while Indica strains are often more relaxing and can help with sleep. However, do note that the effects of edibles can be stronger and last longer than those from smoking, as when cannabis is ingested, it’s processed differently in the body. When shopping for seeds, consider the plant’s growth characteristics, yield potential, and THC/CBD content. For a comprehensive guide on what to look for when buying cannabis seeds, check out this article. I hope this helps ๐Ÿ˜Š

  6. If you are dealing with inflammation and anxiety and restless sleep what CBD products would you start with for these symptoms? Even 2.5 mg of THC is too much THC for me at this point. I don’t like the feeling.

  16. I feel this is a great challenge for me. I grew a hemp plant for my daughter because she prefers cbd. I on the other hand prefer thc, so I am going to infuse some mct oil with her cbd and give it a try. Question? If I consume my thc will it negate the effects of the cbd?
